SMITH OVERVIEW

Having just gotten started, considerable work remains on the Greene related Smith's.  However, an interesting fact are the numerous double cousins that exist between the Greene's and Smith's.  Two Smith brothers married two Greene sisters and a brother to the sisters married a Smith sister to the brother.  A total of 7 double first cousin offspring were produced providing for many opportunities to explain their relationships.  These cousins were close growing up and have remained close today, more like brothers and sisters.  It is an exceptional relationship based on strong double ties.
